When can a dog or cat pregnancy be confirmed by ultrasound?
It depends on dates — we'll advise the best timing for an accurate scan when you book. Just tell us what you know and we'll suggest the ideal day for your visit.
Will the ultrasound scan hurt or stress my pet?
No — ultrasound is gentle and completely non-invasive, and because we scan at home, mum stays relaxed in familiar surroundings. We work at your pet's pace with plenty of fuss and breaks.
How long does a home ultrasound visit take?
Every pet is different, so we never rush. We allow plenty of time for your pet to settle, the scan itself and any questions — we'll give you a better idea when you book.
Do you scan cats as well as dogs?
Yes — we carry out gentle ultrasound scans for both dogs and cats at home across Cardiff and South Wales. If you're not sure whether a scan is right for your pet, just ask.
